Is offsetting of positive goodwill against negative goodwill allowed in consolidation?

In consolidation, are we allowed to offset negative goodwill against postive goodwill?

    No, since there is no concept of negative goodwill in IFRS. Negative goodwill is considered a bargain purchase gain and routed through the income statement

    There is no negative goodwill allowed sitting in balance sheet. IFRS -3 Negative goodwill should be transferred to Income statement.
