Financial Instruments under IFRS

Dear Sir or Madam Can you tell me what will be include in the Financial Instruments? and second think i am doing research on the discloser of IFRS by the companies and i am not understanding what would i see in the annual reports of the companies for seeing the Financial Instruments ? Regard Rakesh

    First you have to understand what a financial instrument is. There are certain standards that deals with financial instruments, these are:
    IAS 32 – Financial Instruments: Presentation;
    IAS 39 – Financial Instruments:Recognition and Measurement; and
    IFRS 7 – Financial Instruments:Disclosures
    There is a website that you can look up summaries IFRSs and model financial statements (www.iasplus.com) The larger networking firms has IFRS Model financial statements that are available to all you visit the sites (E&Y, PriceWaterhouseCoopers, KPMG, etc.).
